What does autumn mean to you? I've been getting slightly obsessed with seasons in recent years and I'm struggling to find my favourite one. I adore Spring: so much promise, warmer days, flowers, flowers everywhere (including bluebells). Then there's summer: lavender fields, long days, school holidays, BBQs with friends. Winter: well, my birthday and Christmas so what's not to love. But Autumn, there's something quite magical about autumn. I find myself day dreaming about the colours of the trees, walking with my boys and kicking up the leaves, collecting a silly amount of conkers on the way home from school with no real idea of what you're supposed to do with them and then there's the promise of winter and the excitement that it brings.
Which is why we're here at this blog post. As the days are ticking by I thought it was time to launch my mini autumn sessions. Not only does it give you a taster of what a photo session with me involves, it gives us the chance to capture the wonderful colours around us and for you to have some gorgeous photos in time for Christmas to help with those family members who are really tricky to buy for!
Autumn mini sessions are exactly what they sound like, a mini version of a normal portrait session! You'll get the same quality experience but on a slightly smaller scale. For a full session I aim to deliver 30 edited images for you to choose from, from a mini session you'll get approximately 10. For a full session I ensure that I allow enough time for the small people (or even the grown ups!) to relax in front of the camera or to warm them up if necessary - as time is limited you may have to do this before we meet! Due to the time constraints, I have to limit the number of people to each photoshoot to 5.
To keep things simple, I'm offering a number of packages for you to choose from:
This year's mini sessions will be taking place over the weekend of 12 and 13 October, if the weather isn't kind they will be rescheduled to the 19 & 20 October. The location will be confirmed to you via email before the session.
