Where do I begin? I was asked back in December if I would like to cover a very low key wedding in Winchester, I jumped at the chance! Kathy and Jabba, with the help of Kathy's sister, were arranging a very quiet wedding to formalise their love and relationship. It was so secret they didn't even tell their daughter until 6 days before! I don't think anyone stopped smiling all day, the air was full of love and happiness and it was such a pleasure and honour to be part of their wedding day. It's been a busy weekend getting this blog post ready so they're able to share with friends and family what they got up to on Friday, you may spot a photo of the lovely bride on the phone ~ she was calling her mum to let her know the news!
After defrosting with a fabulous wedding breakfast of ham, egg and chips followed by steamed treacle pudding, they were happy to brave the cold again. We headed to the grounds of Winchester Cathedral which was stunning, they fitted in rather well and lots of passer-bys were very sweet in offering their congratulations! Many, many congratulations Kathy and Jabba x
