Not portraits but my other love, cake! Last night was the second meeting of the Fleet, Farnham and Farnborough branch of the Clandestine Cake Club.  Our lovely host, Ellie arranged for us to meet at the Bush Hotel in Farnham.  It was a beautiful setting with comfy sofas and cushions surrounding our table which was adorned with amazing cake!

The Bush Hotel, Farnham The theme for this meet up was "Wild and Juicy Harvest" which led to an amazing selection of fruit and veg cake. We had cherries, pears, beetroot, carrot, apple, orange and courgette. I think I've remembered all of them!

Cake club selection Am I allowed a favourite? Well if I am it's a close call between the chocolate and courgette and the carrot cake, but I think the carrot cake clinches it, it was moist, nutty and delicious. But what a healthy way to spend the evening, my 5-a-day well and truly covered!

Carrot cake If you like cake and enjoy an evening chatting with lovely people, do have a look for your local branch, the FFF one is great and I'd highly recommend it.

It was such a nice evening and so many yummy cakes again! I loved all the different styles of cake and trying so many new recipes was great.

Thank you for the great photos Emma - look forward to the next one!
